An established team of solar experts
Transparent, knowledgeable, trusted
The Adapture Renewables team has the experience and expertise necessary to deliver reliable, clean energy projects. We pride ourselves on being not only knowledgeable, but also honest and transparent in our relationships with partners and investors.
Alan Gee
Tax Manager
Alan prides himself on being open-minded and willing to try new experiences. He strives to find the perfect work-life balance to fit that. When it's crunch time, Alan is quiet and focused. Outside of work, Alan is still quiet but less focused. When he is not busy catching up on the tax code, you can usually find him enjoying game nights, trying out and cooking new foods (especially spicy ones!), or spending time with his cat, Artemis, and fiancé, Cat.
Andrew Leonard
Development Manager
Drew started his career in residential and commercial real estate development, and moved into wireless telecommunications to develop cell towers. He’s spent the last 10 years focused on renewables. Drew enjoys outdoor activities like biking. He loves animals of all types, especially dogs, and once had a Rat Terrier named Atom who he describes as the most ferocious cuddle-bug ever!
Antonio Campbell
Development Manager
Antonio is an engineer with an MBA. He worked for an electric utility company in the Southeast for 23 years and is a Certified HVAC Technician and published author. Father of two children, he enjoys traveling, exercising, football, basketball, and spending time learning new hairstyles for his daughter. If he wins the lottery, he plans on starting a non-profit aimed at helping young kids turn into productive law-abiding citizens. His secret power is giving great relationship advice.
Armstrong Hong
Network Engineer
Armstrong is excited to be working for a renewable energy company and helping to create a more sustainable future. With a primary background in IT, Armstrong looks forward to learning more about the functions of operational technology or OT. When he's not tinkering with electronics, Armstrong can be found gardening, spending time with family, or working on a novel home DIY project!
Benjamin Schneider
Director of Project Finance
Ben learned a long time ago that no amount of running will get him any closer to understanding Lease Pass-Through solar financing structures. If you know of something that will, please don't hesitate to reach out to him! When he's not running, Ben jogs a bit and maybe brews a few gallons of beer.
Blake Rainville
Director of O&M Services
Over the last 15 years in solar, Blake has been incredibly excited to see the mass adoption of solar energy throughout the country. In his free time, you’ll find Blake looking for any excuse to be outside. He likes to garden, mountain bike, and hike in the foothills around his neighborhood. When not doing those things, he's usually up in the mountains or somewhere along the coast.
Byron Revels
Director of Technology
Byron lives on the bleeding edge of technology and is always looking for ways to skill-up. He's currently dabbling in more technologies than can be listed here. He typically follows the idea that the more difficult the challenge is, the better it is to learn from.
Chrissy Gaglione
Associate Developer
Chrissy is a native Californian with an adventurous spirit. Her favorite things to do when traveling are trying the most unfamiliar local cuisine or daring outdoor activity (air, land, and sea all welcome). When not abroad, she enjoys making homemade ice cream, hot yoga, and cycling with her dog on her back.
Christina Conrad
Sr. Director of M&A
Born and raised in Iowa, Christina grew tired of waiting for the Field of Dreams to work its magic, so she headed out into the world at first opportunity and landed in Spain. Many countries/flyer miles followed. She has spent most of her career in international development and impact investing with a focus on infrastructure and energy. When not looking for solar projects to buy, she can be found catching her sons' fastballs, researching alpacas, or reading one of the ten books she has started.
Daniel Hale
Manager of M&A
Danny is a Florida native who enjoys fly fishing, boating, good books, and college football. Danny is an integral part of the M&A team within Adapture Renewables and has a background in Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, and Investment Banking.
Danielle Rosenduft
Legal Counsel
Outside of her passion for working in the solar industry, Danielle loves to explore the San Francisco Bay estuary and learn about marine life. She’s also an avid San Jose Sharks and San Francisco 49ers fan. You can usually find her near the water or at her closest coffee shop. She welcomes all podcast recommendations and dog photos.
David FitzGerald
Sr. Director of Project Management & Engineering
Hands down, the most humble person at Adapture Renewables, and the funniest. David leads a stress-free life working seamlessly with solar contractors, and in his free time enjoys reading T’s and C’s. He is also a hypocrite - he used to call people on electric bikes “cheaters” but now owns an electric bike.
DeMario Brown
Design Engineer
If you're ever looking for DeMario in a large group, just say any joke loud enough that is remotely funny and you'll find him. When DeMario isn't laughing or cracking jokes he's more than likely driving or working on some kind of classic car or behind one of his cameras. One goal he has is to collect every Hot Wheels car he had as a kid -- keep in mind he had well over 100 of them!
Douglas Stevens
Sr. Construction Manager
Life in the fast lane. Doug has been in construction all of his life. He started as a electrician with an MA license in 1978. He then moved to North Carolina where he received an NC electrical license. In 2011 he started his journey into solar, and Doug has been on it ever since.
Elora Arana
Development Manager
Despite coming from a family of sports fans, Elora often still confuses quarters with innings. When not improving her sports IQ, Elora enjoys podcasts, audiobooks, dancing, and exploring different cultures and food scenes. She knew her passion was environmentalism after a middle school recycling project medaled at the science fair. As a native Houstonian, She grew up around energy and began her career in environmental compliance before transitioning to renewable energy development.
Emma Hutchberg
Director of Project Finance
If you hear Emma speaking gibberish it's actually Swedish. Half-viking and half-Californian with a background in development economics and investment banking, Emma is now the mother of two mini-vikings. It's no surprise that what she most appreciates in her free time is sleep. However, she’ll make time for a margarita if it’s offered.
Gabe Klooster
Sr. Director of Development
Gabe prides himself on representing the Midwest – in development territory, body, and spirit! He started his career knocking around the boiler rooms of Chicago apartment buildings, trying to convince building owners to pursue energy efficiency retrofits. That turned into convincing farmers across the Midwest to pursue wind and solar. Outside of work, you’ll find him biking Chicago streets on his way to Lake Michigan, which he vehemently maintains is better than any ocean!
George Moore
Sr. Project Finance Associate
Ever curious, George has a background as an Engineer, CPA, and Investment Banker. He is excited to be applying his skills to financing and building solar projects. Outside work you can find him playing basketball, hiking, and surfing. He loves traveling and exploring new places with his wife, Jillian. Their cat, Luna, would prefer they stay home and brush her.
Go Warriors!
Ian Susslin
Project Engineer
Ian is a 9th-generation Vermonter, and yes, his family is involved in sugaring (Maple Syrup) and dairy farming. Because he grew up in Vermont, he loves the fall season and is always looking for an excuse to be outdoors.
Fun Facts – Ian is related to a witch from the Salam witch trials, and before working as an engineer his first job out of college was working as a lobster fisherman in Maine.
Jace Fabrycki
VP of Asset Management
Having spent the last two decades in renewable energy in various roles, Jace certainly has a passion for the cause. While optimizing the operations of solar assets is always on his mind, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family in the beautiful Pacific Northwest every chance he gets. He also spends his winter afternoons and weekends dedicating himself to coaching wrestling at the local high school.
Jacob Rissberger
Manager of Power Marketing Analysis
With a background in Atmospheric Science and years of operational wind and solar forecasting experience, creating solutions to climate change has always been of the highest priority in Jake’s life. Prior to his work in renewables, Jake spent years in tech and e-commerce doing big data analytics in the area of supply chain. Outside of work, Jake spends most of his time in the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, whether skiing in the mountains or playing in the river. Ask him about the weather!
Jason Maxey
Director of O&M Performance and Optimization
A kid from the docks seeking to be a pro skater, Jason found an insatiable need to fix stuff. So, he sought a practical way to apply his Engineering degree. He lives by Mr. Marley’s advice: “Live the life you love. Love the life you live.” He loves family time, and work that serves a greater good, delivering renewable energy to people. Jason’s hobbies include snowboarding, hiking, camping, boating, art, and other creative outlets, but mostly kicking back with family, friends, and good people.
Jesse Tippett
VP of Power Marketing Origination
Jesse is an engineer with a business degree who speaks Spanish. So, he can fix your car or helicopter and help you with your finances and your Chipotle order. He likes people, good food, good stories, business, travel, new technology, exercise, and making things. He has one wife, two kids, two cats, and a wide collection of hobbies. Arnold Schwarzenegger is his hero. Peter Tosh was an awesome musician. iPhone is his co-pilot.
John Lauer
Development Manager
"Interesting Bio coming soon."
John Stone
Director of Development (Eastern Region)
After realizing that a career as a public defender was not the right fit, John decided to pivot and join the world of renewable energy. Although he is not employed as an attorney, John uses his legal background to work with landowners, local officials, and other stakeholders to expand renewable development on the East Coast. When he’s not working, you can find him in a movie theater, mosh pit, or sand trap.
Khepra Mims
Design Engineer
Khepra is an engineer who has developed a passion for Renewable Energy. Khepra has moved up and down the west coast, and now lives in Oakland. Khepra played college football at University of San Diego, and is an avid sports fan, especially for his hometown Seattle Seahawks. When Khepra is not working or watching sports, you will find him trying out new restaurants, at the gym working out, or looking for a new movie to watch.
Luis Meneses
Development Manager
Coming from “the old continent”, Luis is a nature lover who enjoys real football, vintage cameras, surfing, and any type of competition. Luis is always looking forward to spending time with his family and friends. In addition to the USA, he has lived in 4 different countries, so hospitability and adaptability are in his core. Luis takes pride in the Catalan cuisine, so do not mess with the aioli because the original sauce comes from his region!
Lyn Wayne
Real Estate Manager
Born in Minnesota, Lyn’s love for the outdoors sparked a career in renewable energy. After working as a hiking guide and bison researcher, Lyn now works on creative real estate solutions for renewable energy projects. When they're not working, you might find them gardening, birdwatching, cheering on women's basketball, or searching for elusive Snoopy memorabilia. Lyn lives with their wife and pets, including 2 dogs & 3 cats, and a few robot vacuums.
Mary Friedman
Asset Manager
Mary enjoys being active in the woods and water. At home, she dives into the DIY projects that happen to enter her field. She’s quite intrigued by her Australian Shepherd and ends up singing as a celebration of it all.
Matthew Boerger
Development Manager
With 20 years in land development, Matt has a diverse range of experiences related to the industry. Originally educated in urban planning, he developed a passion for renewable energy. He enjoys music, traveling, running, biking, college football, skateboarding, snowboarding, & spending time with family. He loves watching his daughter jump horses & coaching his son at the skatepark.
Matthew Choy
Director of Strategy
Matt was born and raised in Hawaii, and after seven cold winters on the East Coast for college and his early career, Matt is happy to call Honolulu home again. Matt's passion for renewable energy traces all the way back to a high school debate tournament on climate change in 2006. Matt enjoys the outdoors, surfing (very poorly), cooking, and family time with his wife and cats.
Michael Sharp
Sr. Construction Manager
Michael was a general contractor for 20 years before getting into solar in 2009. He is a third generation San Franciscan and proud of it. He spends his downtime rooting for the Giants and 49ers (and sometimes cursing them as well) while endlessly remodeling his home.
Michelle Chen
Sr. Asset Manager
Michelle used to be hard to pin down. She traveled around the world for work and leisure. During the last 15+ years in the Solar industry, she has been to many solar events and visited customers at different solar sites. Due to all this traveling, she earned a free frequent flyer ticket from SF to Singapore within the first few years of working in Silicon Valley!
Monica Morales
HR Manager
Monica was a dancer throughout her childhood and choreographed home dance recitals with her sister. She loves spreadsheets - she has ones for travel itineraries, events, oyster happy hours, and travel destinations. She's fascinated by anything WWII or paranormal related (she has a ton of stories, just ask). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, Disneyland, traveling, and reading. On Sunday mornings, you can find her ordering in dimsum and discovering good trails to walk.
Morgan Zinger
Director of Pre-Construction
Morgan has worked in the energy industry for over 17 years, on hundreds of projects around the US and abroad.
Nathan Durfee
Associate Developer
Nathan has always had a passion for clean energy, which brought him into his career of developing utility-scale solar and storage. He hopes to make an impact to power a renewable future. Outside work, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and traveling with his wife. Ironically, he often spends time where the sun doesn't shine... mapping the many caves of Missouri! While spelunking he loves to go where no human has gone before, being part of a final frontier and preserving caves for the future.
Rachel Crary
Director of Real Estate
As a somewhat recent transplant to California, Rachel enjoys exploring her new home. When she’s not traveling, most weekends find her strolling through a new neighborhood, with a mocha in hand from the local coffee shop, checking out the record stores and estate sales.
Ryan Chambers
Sr. Project Manager
Ryan, like Tom Cruise before him, insists on performing all his own stunts. He has spent over a decade working in the (ahem) Risky Business of the renewable energy industry.
Fun Fact: In a past life, Ryan helped produce a landmark television show starring a skateboarding bulldog and a scooter riding briard. (They performed all their own stunts too.)
Sagar Chokshi
Director of FP&A
Sagar is a newbie to solar, but has the appetite to learn the ins and outs by firing off a ridiculous number of questions until it clicks. He loves being a dad of two high-energy boys who share his interest in basketball and golf. In his free time, watching his favorite team (the Golden State Warriors) puts a smile on his face. One day he hopes his other team, the Raiders (Chris Berman voice) can do the same. Fun Fact: He is the tallest in his family - the only one to have a height above 6 ft.
Sam Altawil
Head of People
“Relationships are based on four principles: respect, understanding, acceptance and appreciation.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi.

As an original member of the Adapture Renewables team since its inception in the United States, Thomas has taken on growing responsibility over the years culminating in his current role as CEO and President. Outside of work Thomas can be found travelling with his family, working on home improvement projects or increasingly rarely, staying current under his Private Pilot’s License flying Cirrus aircraft.
Vanessa Thompson
Transmission Manager
Vanessa comes from a diverse background. When she’s not busy with her professional duties, she’s either on the soccer field, working out, or cherishing moments with her family and friends. Her native language, Creole, gives her voice a unique oscillating charm. As a mother of one, she values quality time with her loved ones. To unwind, you can find her soaking in the warm embrace of her jacuzzi, sipping on her favorite drink, the "Bahama Mama," or catching up with co-workers and friends.
Wyatt Hanson
Senior Counsel
Wyatt’s lived up and down the West Coast, from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles. He’s now settled in the suburbs of Walnut Creek, where you can find him with his wife and son playing soccer, basketball, and tennis. Prior to working in the renewables industry, Wyatt worked in sustainable forestry in Washington State.
